The forWater Network is focused on sharing insights from four years of field research. The three research snapshots featured here highlight new research in green technology, cyanobacterial community composition, and managing cyanobacteria in reservoirs. Green technology framework to better assess techno-ecological solutions for water treatment presented by MASc candidate Emma Blackburn, Dr. Monica Emelko (University of Waterloo) and Dr. Sarah Dickson-Anderson (McMaster University). Cyanobacterial community composition in the Glenmore Reservoir (Calgary, AB) shared by MSc graduate Tim Shardlow, Kirsten Müller and Monica Emelko (University of Waterloo). Managing sediment associated algal blooms in water reservoirs with coagulant dosing summarized by MASc graduate, Nik Knezic, Monica Emelko, and Mike Stone (University of Waterloo).
